Nigeria Tech Price Watch Report — 3 October 2026

Nigeria Tech Price Watch — 3 October 2026

A dated market snapshot from Tech Embed Intelligence. This report tracks selected Samsung mid-range phones available to Nigerian buyers and separates exact observed listings from broader retailer comparisons.

Key findings

  • The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G 6GB/128GB was observed at ₦334,716 on Jumia Nigeria’s Samsung Official Store.
  • The same A26 configuration was listed at ₦362,000 by SLOT, showing why one marketplace price should not be treated as the universal Nigerian market price.
  • SLOT listed the Galaxy A36 5G 6GB/128GB at ₦479,000 during this check.
  • Galaxy A56 listings vary by storage and seller, so Tech Embed keeps variant differences explicit instead of comparing unlike configurations.

Data note: “Previous stored observation” is deliberately not given a date where Tech Embed’s existing record does not preserve one. These movements therefore compare the 3 October check with the previous stored observation; they are not presented as a monthly change.

What the wider market check shows

Current retailer results demonstrate meaningful seller and variant dispersion. Jumia’s official Samsung listing showed the A26 6GB/128GB at ₦334,716, while SLOT showed the same memory/storage configuration at ₦362,000. Jumia search results also contained third-party A26 6GB/128GB offers substantially above those prices. That spread is itself useful buying information: Nigerian consumers should compare the exact variant, seller, warranty, delivery and final checkout amount rather than relying on a single “price in Nigeria” figure.

How to read this report

This is a market snapshot, not a national average and not a recommended retail price. Tech Embed records exact observations with a check date. Marketplace promotions, stock, seller identity, warranty and delivery can change after publication.

Why this matters

Undated price articles can remain in search results long after the market has moved. Tech Embed Price Watch is designed to make recency and evidence visible so readers can judge whether a price is still useful.
